Adios amigo

Good Friday wasn't such a good day after all, mostly because we had to say goodbye to our resident monkey boy, Richard. He's gone and gotten himself one of those pesky job things. Pah!

So here's to you Richard. You have made living in the middle of nowhere about as much fun as it was possible, and I really am truly going to miss you. You have become more than my minion and I hope that we stay good friends. But just because you no longer work for me doesn't mean I'm going to stop bossing you about ;-p

So this is how I will remember you:

That vacant expression... that scruffy manic hair... that pint (yes PINT) of vodka and cranberry.. what a legend!

Not one for teary goodbyes and sentimentality though, I thought the following quite an appropriate send-off image.

CHARMING!!

aww fi, you're so sweet. i didn't realise i had progressed a step up the caste ladder from minion to monkey boy! ...almost brought a tear to my eye.

until i read all these slanderous accusations of alcoholism, a brain lacking in any thought-processes, and my 'fly-away' hair!?!

and to top it all off, you gave me a cd of 'Fi's crappy tunes' and you had to go sneak a track of ABBA in there, and even antagonise me with what you know is my life-long hatred of Morrissey by adding some smiths songs too!!! i've started bangin my head against the wall already

thank you for an amazing three months fi. it was surprisingly eventful, considering we lived in the middle of nowhere. think we definitely made the most of it!!! i'll miss the intense debates over morning coffee, distracting poppy from chasing pregnant sheep, running after medium-sized mammals for long distances through dense forest in the middle of the night, butchering deer on the kitchen table, extensive leagues of shit-head, wandering aimlessly around in a foot of snow trying to find juniper berries at the wrong time of year (that last one's a bit hazy...i think thats what we were doing!?!), ahhhh....all memories i shall cherish to the end of me days
